Digi wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DigiTel”) has accepted an offer from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (“MCMC”) granting DigiTel the reissuance of its 2100MHz spectrum assignment at 2x15MHz band for a period of 16 years effective from 2 April 2018, at the price component payment of RM118,400,000 being made in one lump sum before 1 February 2018 and annual fixed fee payment of RM50,000,000 payable before 15 December throughout the assignment period.

DigiTel has today paid to MCMC the price component fee of RM118,400,000 in one lump sum.
