We refer to the announcements dated 26 October 2005 and 29 November 2005 in relation to the Proposed CP/MTN Programme.
We wish to announce that Digitel has on 22 October 2007, made an application to the Securities Commission ("SC") for an extension of time from 25 November 2007 (being the end of the 2-year period from the SC’s approval for the Proposed CP/MTN Programme dated 25 November 2005 to make the initial draw down from the Proposed CP/MTN Programme) to up to 25 November 2009 for Digitel to make the initial draw down from the Proposed CP/MTN Programme.
The extension is sought as Digitel has yet to identify specific utilization of proceeds from the Proposed CP/MTN Programme. Digitel expects to be able to identify specific utilization of the proceeds from the Proposed CP/MTN Programme in the near future.
